AI Tutor Platform — AskFilo-Style Learning with AI Bots
A mobile-first AI tutoring platform in the AskFilo style — students snap a question, an AI bot parses it, and a subject-expert agent walks them through a step-by-step solution with optional voice interaction.

What EdTech startup was up against
AskFilo-style tutoring requires a tight stack: accurate OCR of handwritten or printed homework, subject-specialist reasoning (math, physics, biology, language), pedagogically-sound step-by-step explanation (not just the answer), plus a live-voice mode for follow-up questions. Doing this at consumer price points needs aggressive cost engineering without quality regression.
What we built
We built a tiered agent pipeline: an OCR + question-classifier front door (so a trig question routes to the math agent, a biology question to the biology agent), subject-tuned prompts backed by retrieval over a curated knowledge base, a solver that generates step-by-step explanations in the student's language, and a voice layer using our open-source TTS stack. A progress tracker remembers concepts the student struggles with and surfaces targeted practice.
